1. Who we are

Quantum Crypto App is published and operated by Quantum Encoding Ltd (UK; Company No. 16575953; registered office 33 Oxford Street, Coalville, LE67 3GS). Quantum Encoding Ltd is the data controller for the wallet app, the www.quantumcryptoapp.com website, newsletter signups, and support enquiries.

Where Quantum Crypto App offers fiat-to-crypto purchases (the on-ramp service, where available), those payments are processed by Alchemy Pay AG — the regulated payment institution that holds the funds, completes the transaction with you, and acts as the merchant of record. Alchemy Pay AG is also the data controller for the payment, billing, and KYC data collected during that flow.

Quantum Encoding Europe Limited (Ireland; Company Registration Number 807205; registered office The Black Church, St Mary's Place, Dublin 7, Ireland) is Alchemy Pay AG's onboarded commission partner / introducer for the on-ramp service offered through Quantum Crypto App, and receives a referral commission on completed transactions. Quantum Encoding Europe Limited does not handle fiat funds, does not hold payment data, and is not the merchant for these transactions.

Quantum Encoding Ltd and Quantum Encoding Europe Limited are affiliated companies under common control. Where we refer to "we" or "us" in this policy, the context indicates which entity is acting — the UK company for the wallet, app, and website; the Irish company specifically for the on-ramp relationship with Alchemy Pay.

2. What we collect — and what we don't

Self-custody wallet: Quantum Crypto App is a self-custodial wallet. We never have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet contents. Your cryptographic keys are generated and stored locally on your device. We hold no server-side record of which addresses are yours, your balances, or your transaction history.

Newsletter: if you subscribe, we collect your email address (and a hashed copy of your IP for abuse detection only — the raw IP is never stored). Used solely to send you product updates. Unsubscribe via the link in every email.

Anonymous usage analytics: we may collect aggregated, anonymous usage data to improve the app. This data cannot identify you and cannot be tied back to your wallet.

Fiat-to-crypto purchases: payment details (card number, billing address, KYC documents) are collected and held by Alchemy Pay under their own privacy policy. Neither Quantum Encoding Ltd nor Quantum Encoding Europe Limited sees or stores your payment details. We receive only the minimum confirmation needed to credit the resulting cryptocurrency to your wallet address.

3. How we use what we do collect

• Send newsletter updates (if you subscribed)
• Improve app functionality and user experience via anonymous analytics
• Respond to support enquiries you initiate
• Detect and block abuse (rate-limiting, throttling repeated signup attempts)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes — ever.

4. Data security

All sensitive data on your device is encrypted using AES-256-GCM with keys derived from your device's secure enclave (where available) or a password-derived key (PBKDF2 with ≥600,000 iterations). Newsletter signups are stored in Cloudflare D1 with TLS-in-transit and encryption-at-rest; access to the production database is restricted to named directors and logged. We follow security industry standards for any data we do hold, which by design is minimal.

5. Third-party services

Quantum Crypto App integrates with third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy that governs the data they process on your behalf:

• Alchemy Pay AG — regulated payment institution. Processes fiat on-ramp / off-ramp transactions, holds the funds, handles all payment data + KYC, and acts as merchant of record for these transactions. Quantum Encoding Europe Limited is Alchemy Pay AG's onboarded commission partner for the service offered through Quantum Crypto App.
• Cloudflare — site hosting, edge security, D1 database for newsletter signups
• Breez SDK — Lightning Network payments (in-app, not server-mediated)
• Li.Fi — cross-chain swap routing
• AI providers — market analysis features. Anonymous prompts only; never your address, balance, or transaction details

6. Your rights (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data (e.g. unsubscribe from the newsletter and delete your row).
• Restrict / object — ask us to stop a specific use of your data.
• Portability — get your data in a machine-readable form.
• Complain — to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) for matters concerning Quantum Encoding Ltd, or to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) for matters specifically concerning Quantum Encoding Europe Limited's role in the fiat on-ramp.
